In 2000, I began my first year at Clemson University (CU). While at CU I discovered a deeper ‘passion for fashion’ and became acquainted with a circle of friends who would be in my life forever. My love for fashion would be the reason I would walk around campus in a “full ensemble”, as my friends would say. They thought it was just because I loved fashion and everything about it, nope, it was because I feared my mom would pop up on campus and say, “what are you wearing and why don’t you have on earrings?” It has happened. See I was raised by a group of amazing, fashionable, God fearing women who taught me that appearance is everything and you got to look ‘cute’ even when going to the mailbox. My time at CU would shape my life tremendously.

 

As with most college students, funds were limited and when they became available, being fashionable was the last thing on a student’s mind.  For though, I would stretch those dollars by shopping at local thrift stores, consignment shops and store clearance racks.  It gave me the ultimate rush, to put together full outfits for under $25.00. Once I graduated and was able to support myself, it was all about the "I See It, I Like It, I Want It, I Got It" mindset.  I have now accumulated so many wonderful pieces that are stylish, classy and fashionable that I would now like to share with you.  

 

In 2017, I started selling new and gently used items on Poshmark®. In a short
amount of time, I gained a large following of fashionable women who didn’t
hesitate to purchase or send special requests for certain items in my closet. I
was very impressed by the support and from there thought, “Why not sell my
closet on a larger platform…”

 

So, here we are today in 2020 with Ceeping U Cute Closet. Because my journey at Clemson University was so influential and life changing for me, giving me confidence, drive and style, of course, I wanted to pay homage to my experience there; this is why ‘Ceeping’ is spelled with a C instead of a K and we have the word ‘you’ simply represented by the letter U, therefore giving you CU (Ceeping U) Cute Closet. Hopefully, you guys get the picture.
